During the New Moon, we are offered the option of connecting with energy of “something new”. We can use this moon cycle time wisely and during the day before, the day of and the day after of the New Moon, the intention can be born to create something “anew”. The New Moon is not the time to take full scale action on this desire, rather it is to sit with this thought and wish it into being.
Here I am, two nights before the lunar eclipse standing outside during sunset to tap into the energy building up around this night. Tonight the sunset is deep pink, its rich hue surrounding me as I stand outside engaged in this age old tradition of removing oneself from the hustle and bustle of the day and taking a moment to enjoy the simple pleasure of watching a sunset.
