If you've followed my writings for a while, you know that I love the holidays. I love celebrating them, decorating for them and sharing rituals and inspirational thoughts on how to connect with holidays on a deeper more meaningful level.
During the month of December, I celebrate the Holiday Season. What I love most is that no matter what religious or spiritual belief you connect with, they all focus on a return to light at this time. I think it's important to honor this special time of year as a season, meaning a collection of days over a period of time, rather than a focus on one day. This allows us time to have a conscious connection engaging with the sights, sounds, smells and scenery around us, as well as the time to reflect on the deeper meanings of the season. We can take in the joy of the season, putting up a tree, hanging garland and decorating with shiny colorful objects, ribbons and of course, lights! The smell of pine, cinnamon, sugar, orange, and many other...
While we celebrate this day of gratitude and there are many ways to celebrate it in conscious ways, see my post, what I want to share with you today is about the gift of time.
Timing, as they say, is everything and when we understand this concept, we can learn to connect with important dates and times that have a mathematical and a magical property within them. I tend to think that mathematics and magic operate by very similar properties and are more connected than most people think.
And when we understand how to work in connection with time, we become masterful creators. Today, is one of those important numerical dates in time.
Astrology shows us how we can work with the energy of the planets and stars to harness time and use it wisely on the earth plane. It's a guide that when understood, allows us an advantage over time. As JP Morgan said, "Millionaires don't use astrology, Billionaire's do". Astrology shows us our "lucky days" and times where...

Ever wonder why witch hats are so pointy? There must be a point to it right?

Once again my dear friends, as your travel guide to the other side and all things mystical, it's time to delve deeper into the meaning of these icons of Halloween.
Back in ancient times and up through the late Middle Ages, women of nobility wore pointed hats. Queens and princesses wore them, aristocratic noble wealthy women wore them. They were symbols of power and prestige. Later in the 19th century, Queen Isabella of Spain brought back the fashion of wearing a very tall hat with the veils and interestingly enough, I write about Queen Isabella in my Spirits of New Orleans book, as she gave magical iron gates to two sisters who lived in New Orleans who were female entrepreneurs running a business.

Ever wonder why cauldrons are featured so prominently during Halloween and associated with witches? Maybe you're 'engaging' in this magical practice and didn't even know that you are!
You may be thinking, what are you talking about Kala? I don't use a cauldron, how am I part of this magical old world practice?
Sure back in the day, meaning way back in the day centuries ago, cast iron cauldrons were the pot used to cook over an open fire.
I mean once upon a time, the cast iron cauldron was the Instant Pot of its day!
But the way we cook has evolved over time and rarely are cauldrons used to cook with, except maybe while camping out as seen in the old western movies with a pot of beans roasting over the fire.
So why are cauldrons still represented today with magic?
The reason is that cauldrons are a symbolic shape and tool. They represent the energy of the Divine Feminine. The shape is round and nurturing and represents that good things come from within, symbolizing...
Ever wonder what it's like to study in a mystery school like the ancient Egyptians?
Thank you to everyone who attended my presentation about the ancient mystery schools of Egypt at the Ancient Mysteries Conference in Virginia. It was a pleasure to share these wisdom teachings with you as I teach to students around the world.
Here's a bit of information on what we explored during the event at Edgar Cayce's ARE. If you want to explore further, check out my online WISDOM SCHOOL where you can explore these lessons and study the mystery school wisdom teachings with me!
QUESTIONS ANSWERED—SECRETS REVEALED!
Join me, Kala Ambrose as I teach about the mystery schools at Edgar Cayce's ARE: Unearthing the Hidden and Forbidden Histories of the Ancient Past Annual Ancient Mysteries Conference
Some call me a teacher. I like to say I do not teach, rather I help souls remember who they are, including how to awaken their psychic abilities.
This knowledge is timeless and universal and each person retains this intuitive information deep within their soul where they hold the keys. When they are ready to remember who they are and why they are here, the inner door to the soul opens and true wisdom/gnosis (knowledge combined with experience) is revealed.
I believe that psychic ability is raised to its highest level when individuals gather with mystical wisdom, deep compassion and a discerning desire to provide service to humanity.
I believe that we are all born with a great purpose in our life. We are all unique and arrived with a divine plan of what we would like to accomplish and experience here on earth.
It is my philosophy that intuition is all encompassing, living within and amongst us in each moment, thought and action and so the journey begins...

A growing number of physicians and medical centers are suggesting meditation as a holistic practice to relax the body and relieve stress. It’s exciting to see this form of mind, body and spirit healing being given the credence and attention it deserves.
The act of meditation is one of the most rewarding gifts you can give to yourself, yet for many, the concept is daunting. There are those who enter into meditative practices which evolve into an entire lifestyle, but for those who have never tried to meditate, the idea of sitting in an uncomfortable position in complete silence is enough to discourage even the slightest attempt.
This does not have to be the case, as there is a meditation practice suitable for each type of person, regardless of their limitations or challenges.
Here’s a few suggestions to get you started on a meditation practice of your own to help you explore on the mind, body and spirit...
I’ve had the honor and privilege to connect with Dragon...
