The ancient Greeks and the Celtics both believed that bees could travel back and forth from the earth plane to the higher spiritual planes. They even created a ritual called “telling the bees”, where they shared news about their life with the bees, asking them to take this information and deliver it to their loved ones and guides on the other side.

Bees have been shown this reverence and respect by many cultures including the ancient Egyptian, Mayan, Native American and African people.
