Your Soul at The Edge of Time is a one year online live course of study with wisdom teacher Kala. You will meet every other Tuesday through Zoom
What is the soul encountering when it reaches beyond ordinary time, identity, and the visible world? This year long course will explore: the mystery of time; the intelligence of dreams; ancestors and the unseen; intuition and possible futures; then death, continuity, and the soul’s larger belonging.
Your Soul at the Edge of Time A Journey into the Unseen
What might the soul perceive beyond ordinary time and everyday awareness? How do dreams speak to us? In what ways might our ancestors remain part of our lives? How can we listen for intuition with openness and discernment? And what might spiritual traditions teach us about consciousness, continuity, and the great mystery beyond this life?
These are some of the questions we’ll explore together—not to rush toward easy answers, but to make room for wonder, reflection, and meaningful conversation.
We’ll meet every other week throughout 2027 for teachings, guided practices, and time to share our own questions and insights. Whether you’ve been with me for the previous classes or this will be your first, you are warmly welcome.
I hope you’ll join me for this journey to the edge of what we know—and into the mystery of what may lie beyond.

What might the soul perceive beyond ordinary time and everyday awareness?Â
In this yearlong course, we’ll explore that question through spiritual teachings, guided reflection, personal inquiry, and conversation. We’ll consider dreams, synchronicity, ancestral memory, intuition, and spiritual ideas about consciousness and the afterlife with curiosity and discernment.
We’ll meet every other Tuesday, moving through four parts of the journey.
Standing at the Edge
What do we mean when we speak of the soul, the unseen, and experiences that seem to reach beyond ordinary awareness?
The Soul’s Experience of Time
Explore linear, cyclical, and sacred time—and how each might shape our sense of a life’s journey.
When Life Speaks in Patterns
Consider synchronicity, meaningful coincidence, and how to reflect on these experiences without rushing to conclusions.
Turning Points and Thresholds
Look at the moments when a life seems to divide into “before” and “after,” and what they may reveal about purpose and change.
The Many Seasons of a Life
Explore cycles of beginnings, endings, waiting, and renewal as spiritual experiences.
Meeting the Future Self
Use guided reflection to imagine the wisdom, questions, or possibilities a future version of yourself might offer.
Entering the Dreaming Landscape
Explore dreams as a language of emotion, memory, imagination, and spiritual meaning.
Symbols That Return
Work with recurring images and symbols, asking what they mean to each dreamer rather than relying on a fixed dream dictionary.
The Liminal State
Consider the moments between waking and sleep, and how different traditions understand these threshold experiences.
Intuition, Imagination, and Fear
Practice noticing the differences among inner knowing, hope, worry, and wishful thinking.
Dreams of Those We Miss
Reflect on dreams involving loved ones who have died, including the many ways people interpret such experiences.
Keeping a Dream and Symbol Journal
Create a gentle practice for recording dreams, impressions, and questions over time.
The Ancestors in Our Stories
Explore how family stories, cultural traditions, and ancestral memory shape a person’s sense of identity.
What We Carry Forward
Reflect on the difference between inherited burdens, inherited strengths, and the stories we choose to continue.
Places That Hold Memory
Consider why a home, landscape, or sacred place can feel charged with history and meaning.
Experiences of Presence
Explore how people describe sensing a loved one, guide, or spiritual presence—and ways to approach those experiences thoughtfully.
Discernment in the Unseen
Discuss grounding, boundaries, and questions that can help us examine unusual or spiritually meaningful experiences.
Grief and the Continuing Bond
Explore how connection, memory, and love may continue after loss, across different spiritual perspectives.
Maps of the Afterlife
Compare how spiritual and religious traditions imagine what may follow death, and what these visions mean to the living.
Glimpses of What May Be
Explore premonition and future-oriented intuition as experiences people report, while practicing careful reflection and record-keeping.
Possibility, Choice, and Free Will
Ask whether the future is fixed, open, or a meeting place between circumstance, choice, and possibility.
The Soul in a Shared World
Consider collective consciousness: how communities, generations, and humanity’s shared hopes and fears may affect our inner lives.
Death as a Spiritual Threshold
Explore how different traditions understand death, transition, and the mystery of what may lie beyond.
Consciousness Beyond the Body
Examine spiritual and philosophical perspectives on whether consciousness can exist beyond physical life.
The Soul’s Larger Journey
Consider ideas such as reincarnation, soul continuity, and life between lives as beliefs and traditions to explore.
Living at the Edge of Mystery
Bring together the year’s reflections and create a personal practice or ritual for living with openness, meaning, and discernment.
“Some call me a teacher. I like to say I do not teach, rather I help souls remember who they are. This knowledge is timeless and universal and each person retains this intuitive information deep within their soul where they hold the key.
When you are ready to remember who you are and why you are here, the inner door to the soul opens and true wisdom/gnosis (knowledge combined with experience) is revealed. I believe our abilities are raised to their highest level when individuals gather with wisdom, deep compassion and a discerning desire to provide service to humanity.
Each of us are all born with a great purpose in our life. We are all unique and arrived with a divine plan of what we would like to accomplish and experience here on earth. It is my philosophy that intuition is all encompassing; an internal guide living within and amongst us in each moment, thought and action, and so the journey begins. If I can be of service as a guide along this journey, I am happy to do so.” – Kala Ambrose
