Have you ever walked a labyrinth? The experience is enlightening in nature as you follow the spiral pattern winding back and forth. Based on a Divine Feminine Sacred Geometry pattern, the act of walking the labyrinth portrays both the life journey and the cycles of life, as we move in a cyclical fashion, at times encountering our past and at other times looking outward to new experiences.
As we journey through the Labyrinth, we are reminded that it’s important to honor each step along the path and that if we take the time to focus and be aware in the moment, that the information and the inspiration we are seeking, will manifest through to us. The sacred geometric design of the labyrinth activates and opens our auric pathways, which exposes our mental, spiritual and emotional well-being as we walk through the spiral.
Sacred Geometry symbols are based upon universal mathematical principles, which form perfect patterns known as the golden ratio. These patterns are found in nature in snowflakes, spider webs, seashells, plants, flowers, pine cones, fruit and in many other aspects including dorsal fins in dolphins and in the structure of the human face. This pattern is referred to as the Fibonacci sequence.
These patterns generate a sense of balance and harmony with the repeating numerical sequence reflecting the mathematical principle of the universe, from the grandest universal designs to inside each tiny single cell. Not only are they found in nature, but also in the highest forms of art, architecture, design, as seen in ancient Egyptian and Greek temples and in scientific patterns with computers and even how the stock market functions.
The golden ratio appears to be charged with universal energy, created with the intention to lead the person or object to aspire to the greatest form of perfection possible within that organism.
When we connect with this universal energy and interact with this sacred pattern, we become part of this energy and it has a distinct effect upon us on the mind, body and spirit level. The act of moving in the formation of this symbol ,opens the bridge between the earth planes and the spiritual planes allowing intuition and the higher self to communicate and interact with us on a deeper level.
When walking the labyrinth, you may enjoy carrying a rose quartz stone with you in order to focus on opening the heart chakra area. Lapis Lazuli is also a powerful stone to use while walking in the spiral in order to open the third eye chakra.
While most people walk a labyrinth during the day, it is even more powerful to walk a labyrinth at night under the light of a full moon.
In the evening, this transformational journey allows the unconscious to explore the shadow self, releasing negative energy and old fears. Drawing upon the energy of the moon, bring the silver light into the aura and allow it to swirl in the same pattern as the labyrinth gathering the energy you are ready to release. Once the energy has gathered the old patterns that you wish to release, visualize the silver moonlight leaving the aura with the energy you are ready to remove from your auric body. Then see the energy dissipating outside of the labyrinth into nothingness. Once you have completed walking the labyrinth, take a few moment to restore your energy by taking three deep cleansing breaths and drinking some water, which can also be charged under the moonlight.
Many times we found ourselves doodling and drawing on a piece of paper. If you find that you are subconsciously drawing this spiral pattern, it indicates that you are subconsciously opening up to change and preparing for new patterns of energy to enter your life. Embrace and welcome the change, as it is part of your evolution here in this lifetime.
