I love the photos that people share with me of their pets reading my books and watching my video courses with them.
Many times when I am working with a client over the phone, their pet will join in on our conversation and become very vocal in the conversation. This often surprises my clients, but I’m used to it. The animal kingdom communicates with us all the time, we just have to pay attention.
My little pup Griffin and I communicate telepathically with images and I’ve found that it comforts him when I have to leave home, if I send him an image of how long it will take before I return. I show him images of the sun going up and down if it’s an overnight trip and images of who will be coming over to take care of him while I’m away.
He’s also become very vocal and some of his barks have become more conversational with me, indicating different moods and at times almost sounding like words. He has a mumble that sounds so close to saying no, no, no that it cracks everyone up every time he does it. He’s also learned a pretty broad vocabulary, we can name ten different toys of his by their name and he understand which toy we are talking about and will go to another room to retrieve that specific toy.
I wonder what the animals are thinking when they sit at the computer watching my video courses with their clients…
At the very least I hope they are enjoying the course. 🙂
