Wake Up Now with Stephan Bodian

With the growing popularity of satsang in the West, more and more people are waking up to the radiant emptiness of their essential spiritual nature. But few realize that awakening is often just the beginning of a prolonged and challenging journey of spiritual unfolding that may be fraught with pitfalls as well as promise. Kala speaks with Stephan Bodian, spiritual teacher and author of the new book, Wake Up Now: A Guide to the Journey of Spiritual Awakening. Stephan invites you to glimpse your true nature directly, right now, without arduous practice. His work leads you through the stages that generally follow: the “wake” of awakening, when the mind tends to obscure or co-opt your realization; the embodiment process, in which you learn to actualize your awakening in every area and dimension of your life; and the ongoing challenge of freeing the dark or frozen places in the psyche that awakening by itself may not reach.
Stephan Bodian

Aloha Life with Alika Medeiros

From the beautiful energy of Hawaii, Kala speaks with Alika about Aloha Life. Aloha translates from Hawaiian into English into many, many things — all of them good. Anyone who has visited the islands of Hawai’i knows that the moment you arrive, the Spirt of Aloha fills your soul. To live an Aloha Life is to use the power of Aloha to elevate, empower, and ennoble yourself in your life and the lives of those around you. According to Alika, “To live an Aloha Life was a method that was TRUTH for my ancestors and was integral to their daily lives. This way of life has been passed down through the generations. When I was younger, I was on a path of a destruction — lashing out at a world that I had perceived as being against me. My tutu (grandmother) began instructing me on how to live an Aloha Life and more importantly, how to use the key to prosperity, peace and harmony that is Aloha for the betterment of the lives of others.” Enjoy this interview with Kala as she speaks about one of her favorite places on Earth, Hawaii as she shares the beautiful Aloha spirit with Alika!
Alika Medeiros

Alika Medeiros

More About Alika:
Alika was born Alika Medeiros in Honolulu on the island of Oahu. The child of a Portuguese father and a native Hawai’ian mother, his father abandoned his family when he was a child and he was raised with the influence of his mother and his mother’s family. When he was younger, Alika acted out and got into all the sorts of trouble a young man can. His actions were spurred by a resentment toward his father and all of the other hardships he had faced as a youngster. While a teen, Alika was in a horrible surfing accident that shattered his ankle and left him unable to walk. Faced with the prospect of never being able to walk again, he fell into a deep depression. His grandmother began practicing the ancient Hawai’ian Lomi (massage) on him while explaining to him the wonders of Huna, a traditional Hawai’ian spirituality. Within months, Alika had completely healed. It was during one of these sessions with his grandmother that Alika fell into a trance-like state and experienced a moment of total clarity. He knew at this moment that by creating what he calls an “Aloha Life” he could help others to release the “Kahuna” within. What began as a young man’s idealism to change the world has turned into Alika’s lifetime crusade. Through his “Aloha Life” workshops, healing touch seminars and his own Kilo Lani yoga techniques, he has helped people worldwide to transform the quality of their lives and the lives of those around them.

Oneness Movement with Sri Raniji

Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma, founders of the Oneness University have repeatedly said, the solution to humanity’s suffering can only be found through each person being awakened to the state of Oneness – a level of consciousness characterized by inner peace, joy and love for all. However, this level of consciousness is not something we can give ourselves, it must be given to us through Divine Grace. It is the mission of Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma to bring this sense of Oneness to all of humanity. Their inspired vision is to awaken 64,000 people around the world. In turn, these people will act as Divine vessels to help transform the rest of humanity. Each day the divine energy being transferred to individuals through the practice of the Oneness Blessing is increasing several fold and thousands of people are opening to this grace we call Oneness.
Sri Raniji

Sri Raniji

More About Sri Raniji:
Sri Raniji only became aware of suffering when she experienced it as an adult. As she searched for answers, she encountered many concepts and ideas which were not fundamentally helpful. Not until she met Acharyia Anandagiriji, did her life change dramatically and quickly. There was great beauty, simplicity and universality in his message. She realized that only true internal freedom can create a joyful life. The compassion born of her extreme suffering was so profound, she became dedicated to relieve the pain of others. “Use me,” she asked of Amma Bhagavan. That was twelve years ago. Bhagavan appointed her as Spiritual Leader and Founder of the Oneness Movement in North America. Sri Raniji has made her mission to help bring the gift of love to the people of the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Italy. She works and travels tirelessly, presenting a wide variety of workshops, often in major universities, such as “Energy Transfer for Enlightenment” (also called Deeksha), “Awakening the Higher Self”, “Perfecting Relationships”, “Discovering Bliss”, and “Freedom from Stress.” More info at: https://www.onenessmovement.org

Conscious Living with Matthew Sanford

As a little boy, Matthew was an ordinary kid who loved to hang upside-down, wrestle and climb trees. He had an ordinary family. But at age 13, life as Matthew knew it changed in a split second when a car crash killed his father and sister and left him paralyzed from the chest down. Matthew’s body was completely silent for 12 years. Then he found yoga and began to study how the mind-body connection flowed through his paralyzed body. In the years since, Matthew has dedicated his life to helping others — able-bodied and disabled alike — experience the enlightening powers of the mind-body connection. His non-profit, Mind Body Solutions, and profound new book Waking: A Memoir of Trauma and Transcendence provide the access creating these connections.

Beginning Mindfulness with Andrew Weiss

What is Mindfullness? Mindfulness is our complete, spacious, attentive awareness of everything in the present moment. To live in mindfulness means not to be pulled away by memories of the past or anticipation of the future. Mindful living engages us completely in this moment. We learn to be present to our fears, anxieties, worries or sorrows without being overwhelmed by them. It allows us to live free of judgement, and to make everything in our daily lives sacred and full of meaning, even things as simple as washing the dishes or turning on an electric light. To live in mindfulness is an art. It requires our attentiveness and skill, and repays us many times over with lightness, calm, honesty and joy. Because it encourages us to live in the present moment, mindful living allows us to heal our relationships, live more consciously, and move through the world gracefully.
