Kala speaks with Kevin Todeschi, Executive Director of Edgar Cayce’s Association of Research and Enlightenment about his new book, God in Real Life. In his book, Kevin explores questions including: What if it was truly understood that individuals can have real encounters with the Divine, even in this modern world? What might happen to our collective worldview if we suddenly realized that, in truth, there is a caring God very much concerned about each and every one of us? Presented in this new book are personal accounts from people of all ages, races, and religions who have one thing in common: an experience with the Divine. Also included are historical examples found in the lives of such individuals as Padre Pio, Vivekananda and Irina Tweedie. Their stories suggest that the time has come for our 21st century world to acknowledge that there is much more to us than a simple physical body. Perhaps the time has come to acknowledge that we are never really alone.
