The Sphinx Mystery with Robert and Olivia Temple

Kala speaks with Robert and Olivia Temple about their book The Sphinx Mystery: The Forgotten Origins of the Sanctuary of Anubis. Shrouded in mystery for centuries, the Sphinx of Giza has frustrated many who have attempted to discover its original purpose. In The Sphinx Mystery, Robert Temple with his wife Olivia address the many mysteries of the Sphinx. He presents eyewitness accounts, published over a period of 281 years, of people who saw the secret chambers and even went inside them before they were sealed in 1926–accounts that had been forgotten until the author rediscovered them. He also describes his own exploration of a tunnel at the rear of the Sphinx, perhaps used for obtaining sacred divinatory dreams.

Robert Temple reveals that the Sphinx was originally a monumental Anubis, the Egyptian jackal god, and that its face is that of a Middle Kingdom Pharaoh, Amenemhet II, which was a later re-carving. In addition, he provides photographic evidence of ancient sluice gate traces to demonstrate that, during the Old Kingdom, the Sphinx as Anubis sat surrounded by a moat filled with water–called Jackal Lake in the ancient Pyramid Texts–where religious ceremonies were held. He also provides evidence that the exact size and position of the Sphinx were geometrically determined in relation to the pyramids of Cheops and Chephren and that it was part of a pharaonic resurrection cult.

More about Reverend Ruby Morrow:
Reverend Ruby was born in Georgia and raised as a Baptist in her younger years. She then found the Unity School of Christianity, and later discovered Astara in July of 1977. She became a regular at Sunday Services and soon was giving meditations at the Sunday service. She completed all eight degrees of Astara, called “The Book of Life” and continues to re-read and study them on a regular basis. She taught Astara’s degree lessons for six and one-half years. In 1990, she became an ordained minister and has served as the Secretary-Treasurer on Astara’s Board of Directors since 1989. When Dr. Robert Chaney retired, Reverend Ruby became Astara’s Primary Minister. She speaks once a month at Astara and handles the Sunday Insight Services. Reverend Ruby gives workshops and seminars around the U.S.A. and has been a Tour Teacher for Astara traveling to many countries, including Egypt, Greece, Italy, Scandinavia, Russia, Peru, China, Great Britain, and France. Stephan A. Schwartz is a Research Associate of the Cognitive Sciences Laboratory of the Laboratories for Fundamental Research, and previously founder and Research Director of the Mobius Laboratory. Schwartz is part of the small group that founded modern Remote Viewing research, and the principal researcher studying the use of Remote Viewing in archaeology. He has written numerous technical papers, reports and four books on the subject. Other areas of interest include research into creativity and Therapeutic Intent, including a continuation of the analysis of water exposed to therapeutic intent using spectroscopy that was begun by Bernard Grad. Schwartz is the Editor of “The Schwartz Report,” an international daily web publication. He is a former Special Assistant for Research and Analysis to the Chief of Naval Operations, Editor of Seapower Magazine, and staffer of National Geographic Society. He is a founder of the Society for Anthropology of Consciousness, the International Remote Viewing Association, and the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine, and is a member of the Parapsychology Association, and its public spokesperson.
