Formerly with AT&T Bell Labs, Sandian National Laboratories and the White House Science Office, he has been awarded six patents, made over 500 published appearances in 100 venues worldwide, founded several startup companies, and is now an environmental program manager in the US government. He is founder of SIGMA, the non-profit think tank of science fiction authors advising the Federal government, and has a regular column in UFO Magazine. A long time friend of Chris Dunn, he accompanied Chris and others for 10 days in Egypt in 2008.
