It is always amazing to me how outdated un-truths remain in the global consciousness, where people continue to believe and defend them as “facts”.  One example that comes to mind is the myth of Mary Magdalene.  Ask many Catholics and non-Catholics today who is Mary Magdalene and they will tell you that she was a prostitute who Jesus forgave, yet this is completely untrue.

In the 6th Century, Pope Gregory lumped together the stories of three women including the story of a prostitute and declared that this was the story of Mary Magdalene in order to make his point in a sermon. This lie became a “fact” endorsed by the Catholic Church for centuries, until 1969 when the Catholic Church officially stated that this information was not true and that Mary Magdalene has been misrepresented for centuries. Reportedly under pressure to reveal the truth about Mary Magdalene, they shared that what is actually stated about Mary Magdalene in scripture is that she was present at the empty tomb of Jesus and the person who witnessed the resurrection. This has always been problematic for the Church, which endeavors to downplay the role of women, while also having to acknowledge that the only person who witnessed the resurrection of Christ was a woman.

Many scholars believe that Mary’s presence was a sign of a spiritual movement that was working to establish women as equals in spiritual roles. This challenged patriarchal control and as was the custom during previous centuries until today, it was easy to discount the role and power of women by condemning them as prostitutes and dismissing them.  In the 20th Century, the truth was revealed about Mary Magdalene by the Church, yet here now in the 21st Century, ask yourself, which story is still most stated as fact about Mary Magdalene?

With this in mind, do you wonder if the Divine Feminine is really manifesting and making evolutionary and revolutionary changes at this time?  Will we see a change in religion, dogma, and spirituality in regards to the treatment of women?

In the ancient wisdom teachings, it is said that change comes first from within and then ripples outward. It is described as… “As Within, So Without”.   Can the changes come from within the churches themselves for women?

Consider this modern day story, which has all the makings of becoming an important marker in history… American Nuns are currently challenging the Catholic Church with its medieval patriarchal dominated rules. The “Sisters” are doing it for themselves, rising up and saying that women deserve equal standing in the Church, which has caused an vehement reaction from the Vatican.

A CBS 60 Minutes segment recently interviewed these Nuns to see what they are doing and why it is angering the Vatican. According to the report, it is being described as … “the Vatican is creating a new Inquisition”. It is indeed the same office targeting these women that once ran the Inquisition, only this time the target is against women who dare to stand up against the Church.

The Vatican has called the situation a “crisis” and has accused the Sisters of “insubordination, undermining the Church and radical feminist themes” and has refused to even discuss the idea of women playing a more equal and prominent role in the Catholic Church.

Women around the world are supporting these Sisters as they fight for women to be respected and acknowledged in the Church. One of the most popular support groups is Nuns on a Bus. NETWORK’s first Nuns on the Bus tour traveled in the summer of 2012 through nine states to highlight the work of Catholic Sisters. Since that initial tour, there have been many others, visiting states from Colorado to New York – and even including a “Nuns on the Ferry” trip on the Staten Island Ferry.

The Vatican has singled this group out and assigned an American arch-bishop to crack down on them. Will Pope Francis handle this situation differently? It remains to be seen.  Two years ago, in a Church riddled with controversy over priests and pedophellia, the Vatican put out a directive that said that the worst crimes that can be committed are pedophellia and…. are you ready for this…. ordaining women! It is shocking to think that those two things could be compared and criminalized in the same sentence and very telling as to why people are leaving Churches in droves and not looking back.

From Mary Magdalene to Joan of Arc, from the torture and killing of thousands of wise women during the Inquisition to the treatment of the daughters of Fatima, the castigation of women must be stopped.

The role of The Divine Feminine energy grows stronger each day and these antiquated and Misogynist views of women will no longer be accepted. I have the greatest respect and admiration for these Nuns who are working from the inside out to change how women are viewed and respected and hope that it inspires women from all walks of life and religions to do the same in their communities.

Have you ever had a feeling about someone that you couldn’t explain, but the feeling was so strong that it affected how you felt about that person? When at a loss to explain how we feel, we might describe this person as dark and foreboding or the opposite, such as having a sunny disposition or being a ray of sunshine in our lives.  For thousands of years, artists in ancient Egypt and later in Rome and other parts of Europe attempted to paint the energy they felt around a person, such as a halo around an enlightened being and dark shadowing around someone who is consumed with sadness and guilt.  What these artists depict and others describe, is what I have seen around people my entire life. Since my earliest memories of childhood, I have seen colors and rays of light around people. I came back this lifetime with memories of my past lives where I was a wisdom teacher, sharing what is known as the esoteric mystery teachings.  I’ve lived and taught these teachings in ancient Egypt, Greece, India and Celtic times along with many other places and I continue to teach them again in this lifetime.

As a wisdom teacher, teaching how to see the aura in its many expressions around the energy bodies is one of the most valuable exercises I can share as it can lead to self-actualization in the body, mind and spirit fields.  When we have conscious awareness of who we are as spirit beings, it opens doors to new levels of existence on the earth plane and the higher realms.  Not only are we able to understand ourselves on a deeper level and develop further into super-natural beings of light, we are also able to understand our fellow men, women and children on a profound connective soul level.

I’ve spent this lifetime dedicated to pulling all the knowledge and wisdom from all of my previous lifetimes into my conscious fields so that I could access them freely and share them with others who wished to study the ancient mystery teachings.  I came back this time with psychic abilities including: seeing the aura, being intuitive, seeing ghosts and beings from other planes, the ability to astral travel, having prophetic and teaching dreams, connecting and working with spirit guides and the elders, possessing empathic and psychometric abilities and most importantly, a heart chakra field that is wide open to compassion and love for humanity.

Over the years, I’ve studied the metaphysical sciences in this lifetime and in others including astrology, tarot, traditional feng shui, magic, and with master teachers who share the ancient esoteric teachings from various orders around the world.  Along with my esoteric inner work, I’ve dedicated my life to teaching these skills to others with my school of the mysteries, the Temple of Stella Maris and lecturing and holding workshops around the U.S. In my exoteric outer work, I share as an author writing books and as a national columnist, and in creating The Explore Your Spirit with Kala Show, where I’ve conducted hundreds of interviews speaking with world-renowned authors, artists, teachers and researchers in the metaphysical, spiritual, paranormal and scientific realms. I believe that one of the most important factors for this evolution to accelerate is the ability to see and sense the auric fields.  When you can see the aura and the energy bodies surrounding the aura, you can see how a person is truly feeling, regardless of what they are saying vocally. You can see their state of mind, their state of health and their state of being. The various fields also show karmic ties they bring with them, guides who are surrounding them and the destined path on which they are heading.  The aura fields are like open books describing who we are on all levels.  As open books, we do not have to shield who we are, for it is on display for all the world to see. This provides a great freedom to be ourselves and live in the moment, with the conscious awareness that who we are is a constant process of change and evolution. The end result is more incredulous and exciting than many of us have ever imagined.

Can You Feel The Love

Many people say to me that they are not able to see auras or wonder if they truly exist. Seeing the first layer of the aura is relatively easy to accomplish. In the workshops I teach, typically 90% of the people I work with are able to see the first layer of the aura by the first or second exercise. While it is fairly easy to see the outline of an aura, (the etheric body is first viewed as a white border around the body) understanding what the colors inside the auric fields represent can be more challenging.

Are you wondering if you are sensitive to energy fields? Consider these situations in which you were aware of energy that you could not see with your physical eyes:

• Have you ever walked into a room and felt the mood of the room coming from the people inside, without knowing what the conversation is about?
• Have you ever walked into a building and felt uncomfortable with no apparent reason as to why you are feeling this way, but wanted to get out as soon as possible?
• Have you ever met someone for the first time and immediately felt uncomfortable and preferred not to be around them or on the opposite end of the spectrum, warmed up to someone immediately and found yourself wanting to spend as much time as possible in their company?
• Have you ever played the game where you are blindfolded and you rely on sensing energy to see where someone else is located in the room and how close you can get to them?
• If you have ever taken a tai chi or other type of martial arts class, one of the first exercises you learn is to sense your personal chi/energy field. Students are taught how to feel the energy radiating off the body and how to harness the energy between their hands, forming it into a ball. They are also taught deep breathing exercises in order to raise the energy field and expand it. These lessons connect directly into the auric field and are a great way to connect with your personal energy.

• If you haven’t explored any of these options before, another example of sensing something in your auric field, is when you are deep in thought and not paying attention to your surroundings and suddenly, you “feel” that someone is staring at you and you turn to look. The person staring at you is causing a ripple effect that is being felt from their energy being directed at you and your energy field through the aura responding to this energy wave. The auric body reacts to the energy ripple and sends a message to your conscious mind to pay attention. It is being protective in this response, so that the mind can take the next step to discern whether the person is friend or foe and how to react accordingly.

In these situations and many others, you have felt the energetic auric field around a person. There are hundreds of examples regarding the auric fields and their energy and one of the most profound stories come from the sleeping psychic, Edgar Cayce.

During the last year of his life, Edgar Cayce began work with his friend Thomas Sugrue to write a book about his work with auras. This book was intended to reveal a full discourse on auras and colors, including Cayce’s notes on how he learned via observation with his clients, the meanings of specific colors and shapes in the aura. Unfortunately, his health took a turn for the worse and he died early that year in 1945. Due to Cayce’s untimely demise, the compilation of his work and study of the auras was complied into a twenty-page pamphlet entitled Auras: An Essay on the Meaning of Colors.  To this day, Auras is a popular reference guide containing helpful information including how the colors in the aura are connected with the planets and musical notes.

As a psychic who saw auras, Edgar shared his most traumatic experience in regards to seeing auric fields. One day Edgar was in a high-rise office building, up on a high floor and pushed the button for the elevator in order to return to the first floor. When the elevator opened in front of him, he was completely caught off guard, as he could not see the aura of any person on the elevator. This surprised him, as he was used to seeing the auric field around people wherever he went. Puzzled by what he saw, he continued to stare in surprise and did not enter into the elevator. The elevator doors closed and the cable of the elevator snapped, plummeting all of the people on the elevator to their death.

The auric field was absent around the people on the elevator as it was preparing the physical body for death. Rather than its normal state of extending outward, the aura begins to pull inward into the body to gather the essence and soul of the person as the death process nears. This act assists the consciousness in the shift from the physical plane of existence of the body  into the higher realms of the spirit.

Seeing Auras – From A Psychic’s Viewpoint

From my experiences in reading auras, I’ve found that the auric body typically maintains a basic form, which resembles an egg like oval shape around the body. Emanating from this body is a beautiful white light along with a wide variety of colors, shapes and at times, swirls and patterns. While it is fairly easy to learn to see an aura, understanding what the colors and images surrounding the aura represent, requires intuition, practice and an understanding of the spiritual planes and fields around the body.

Each individual creates a distinctive pattern in their auric field comprised of the individual’s thoughts, emotions, energetic manifestations and thought forms. The aura has an electromagnetic frequency, which is sensed by others and radiates at different levels. When people resonate at a similar auric frequency level, they naturally feel more comfortable around each other and find it easier to connect on the physical, emotional and mental levels. On the flip side, people whose auric vibrations differ greatly in frequency, tend to experience more conflict with each other and find it more difficult to communicate. In some ways, because they are coming from such different energetic standpoints, it’s almost as if they are speaking two different languages. In short, birds of a feather flock together and while opposites attract, the opposing energy fields can create conflict and difficulty with communication.

As human beings, we are essentially made of light and energy. As we come into contact with another person, our auras engage and intermingle with each other. This can lead to many positive experiences, which stimulate and enhance the aura. It can also generate negative experiences, which can draw too much energy away from the auric field and leave the person feeling depleted. With a greater understanding of how the aura functions, it’s easier to recharge the aura to keep it running at an optimum level.

There are seven main layers to the aura, which are also referred to as bodies or fields. There are many people who can see the auric fields. For some intuitives, they see them with their physical eye. Others see the fields through their third eye and some only sense the auric fields. A small number of people are able to see all seven auric fields, while the majority of people see one or two fields only. Some psychics are more attuned to see physical dis-ease before it enters the physical body, while others see the energy in motion around the person, which reflects their general wellbeing.

They may also see emotional distress in the auric field, or glimpses of the akashic records being worked through in this lifetime. The akashic records are an ancient Sanskrit term, which refer to a database of records, a library of sorts, which records all actions in the universe. While each person is here on the earth plane in a physical body, part of their essence and soul remains in the higher planes. A meta-physical energetic cord connects from the higher planes down to the earth plane and attaches to the soul of each person as it resides inside the physical body. These cords move energy back and forth from the physical plane to the higher planes. Also contained in these fields of energy are the records of each thought, word, action and deed that we generate while in the physical body. These records are transported back to the akashic library where they are stored and when we pass on from the earth plane and return to the spiritual realms, we visit the hall of akashic records to review our lifetime. From this review, we can see if we generated more karma and what we created from our action.

In my work as a wisdom teacher, I teach students how to see and read auras. We discuss the types of auras, their condition and how to heal an aura that has become damaged due to shock, stress or other harmful situations. In this line of work, I continue to experience new revelations when giving aura readings for people.

What has been most astounding and exciting in my work is that in the past ten years, I’ve seen new structures forming around the auras, which I have never seen before in the auric fields.

My theory on this new design in the auric field is that we are in a quickening. We are evolving on an energetic level and our auric bodies are being recreated right before our very eyes. What I see happening in many fields now is that the energy bodies around us are being reconstructed and are opening up to allow more light and energy to flow through our bodies now, more than ever before. In addition, the grid around the auric body is expanding and the structures are more crystalline in appearance. From my research, there has been only one other time in history where there were references to the energy around the human body changing and this was in the time of ancient Egypt when the high priestesses prepared to communicate with their gods and goddesses. As we draw near to the astrological age of Aquarius, which is symbolized by the water bearer in the heavens, pouring the wisdom of the gods back down to earth, I am struck by the correlation in what I see manifesting in our auric bodies. I believe the energy fields around our body are being prepared to receive higher and stronger vibrations of energy. The effects will allow for more energy to come into our physical bodies, allowing us to live longer and with greater vitality. It will also allow for greater mental capacity as well as increasing psychic ability.

Happy 12-12-12!  As we see in the study of numerology, each number has a divine universal power and meaning connected with it. The number twelve resonates throughout our conscious perception of time and space and when it is magnified times three (12-12-12), it heralds a change in our conscious reality.  In ancient teachings, it is said that twelve is the higher aspect of the numbers three and four, with three representing time and four representing the earth plane, the third dimension and what we describe as physical reality.

As we can see throughout time, humanity has resonated with the number twelve as an important marker of energy and events.  The age of twelve signifies the end of childhood, as one becomes a teenager at thirteen. In religious aspects, twelve is represented with the twelve Olympian gods of Greece, twelve apostles in Christianity as well as the twelve knights in King Arthur’s round table, the twelve tribes of Israel and in Hinduism, the sun god Surya has twelve names and it is said that there are twelve petals in the heart chakra.

AS ABOVE, SO BELOW – THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH

Astrologically in both Western and Chinese astrology, there are twelve signs to identify people, along with twelve planets.  In Chinese astrology, there is a twelve year cycle used to calculate time, which is referred to as “earthly branches”.  In our calendar, we have twelve months and our clocks move in twelve hour cycles. The number twelve is used in our measurements and a dozen is a common offering in our baked goods and let us not forget the twelve days of Christmas celebrated as the marking of time extending the Yule celebration from Christmas to the Epiphany, which is also referred to as the Twelfth Night.

The significance of the rare expression of 12-12-12 being brought forth today, is that the world is evolving, shifting and moving into the fourth dimension, which will alter the concept of time as we currently understand it on earth plane. In the month of December, we collectively mark the passage of time as we prepare for the return of the light, beginning on the Winter Solstice of December 21st through December 24th, and we then look forward to the dawning of a New Year. December is the month associated with letting go of the old, completing a time of introspection in the darkest of days and embracing the return of the light and new beginnings.  This particular year, December 12, 2012, heralds a new marker of time and space as we prepare to enter a new cycle.

HOW TO CONNECT WITH THE EVOLUTIONARY ENERGY OF THIS SIGNIFICANT TIME

Here is an exercise to connect with the energy of 12-12-12 as this new energy fills and surrounds both the earth plane and the higher dimensions around us:

In a dark room, sit quietly and breathe deeply with a unlit white candle in front of you. For three minutes, reflect upon where you are in your life at this time and what you would like to create in the New Year. Fill your thoughts with these loving, positive choices and then light the candle before you. Let the candle burn for four minutes as you focus on visualizing these choices coming to light and being.  For the next twelve days,  12-12-12 through 12-24-12, spend three minutes a day reflecting on your wishes in this room and then after lighting the candle, spending four minutes with the lit candle focusing on what will be brought into the light.

This is especially effective during this time as twelve signifies the number of spiritual fulfillment and what we focus on for the next twelve days is what will be brought to light beginning on December 24th.

The Aquarian information from the gods can no longer be contained, the Divine Feminine is being released in all her glory and we will once again see a Renaissance period, where great art, architecture, philosophy, literature and science will develop and flourish. During this decade the greatest minds will stir, to share, to illuminate and to build and create works and ideas that will be marveled around the world.”  Now is the time to focus on love, hope, joy, abundance and creative vision for the evolution that we are bringing into being! 2012 The Decision is Ours

As the band R.E.M. sings, “It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine…”

One of the most powerful esoteric wisdom teachings I share with students, is the knowledge that: “the only constant in life is change”. We are on this earth plane to experience change on a daily, weekly, yearly and sometimes hourly basis. Each moment, our cells change, our thoughts change, every thing changes!

In the recent presidential election, both campaigns focused on the concept of change, we collectively voted for change! This is because at our core level, we know that things should not and cannot continue in their current pattern.  Our higher selves are inspiring us to make a change. One of the reasons that we collectively feel this great need for change has to do with 2012.

The Mayan Long Count Calendar, which ends in 2012, has sparked great interest and debate around the world with researchers, scholars and mystics.   Questions remain which still have not been fully answered, such as… Why does this calendar end and What will occur on the Winter Solstice date of December 21, 2012?

On The Explore Your Spirit with Kala show, I’ve interviewed authors, researchers, and mystics about 2012 and I’ve shared what the mystery school teachings have to say on the subject.  One of the most interesting conversations on the show was with John Major Jenkins, a researcher of the ancient Mayan culture.  During this interview we spoke about how the sun was moving toward the heart of our galaxy and the profound implications this would have on every species in our universe.  The Mayan Calendar reveals this galactic transformation culminating on December 21, 2012.

As 2012 draws near, I’d like to share with you what the wisdom teachings have to say on this topic…

The unit of measure, which affects everything on Earth, is Time. Esoteric teachings explain that time is not linear, it is cyclical and it moves in expanding circles.  As with all cycles, the transformation does not begin and end on one day, rather it develops and unfolds over a period of time.  We sometimes wish for a magical moment of time, so that in an instant we are transformed with one act or one secret we stumble upon which changes everything. However, this is not the case. Even in fairy tales, we see that even when the hero finds the magical talisman, their journey does not end there, rather their journey has just begun!

Esoteric Wisdom states that: Time is the Keeper and Ruler of our universe.  During the time period of 3000 BC – 3115 BC, remarkable occurrences were happening around our planet. The first dynasty of Egypt was born, the first records of written language are recorded in Mesopotamia, the Hindu cycle of Kali Yuga began, the Sumerian civilization developed the first Monarchy and the Mayans marked this period as the beginning of their Long Count Calendar. These civilizations mark a majority of the history we use as reference points to this day.

The Mayan prophecies connected this 5000 year cycle, which began around 3100 BC and culminates in 2012. The Mayans described this cycle as the troubled times which they referred to as the 9 Hell Cycles. This cycle indicated that humanity would undergo a long period of fighting and struggling with what we called our shadow self or what others describe as our lower self or dark side.

As we near the end of this 5000 year period, we are preparing for the shift into a new cycle beginning in 2013.  The Mayan prophecies highlight a 26 year cycle with three important dates as we near the end of this calendar cycle, which were reported by Dr. Jose Arguellas during his study of the Mayan/Toltec Calendars. This cycle of 26,000 years is a period of time referred to by many other civilizations around the world besides the Mayans.  These groups also refer to the Pleiades system as our home before we lived here on Earth.

Dr. Arguellas listed three important dates in this cycle: 1987, 1999 (the mid point) and 2012, the culmination. The first date is known as The Harmonic Convergence, which began on August 16th, 1987. Dr. Arguellas’s deciphering of the Mayan calendar revealed a reference around this date, which would be felt on the earth in conjunction with our sun’s 26,000 year precession around the star system of Pleiades. The significance of the Harmonic Convergence was reputed to stir an energetic quickening felt on our planet and throughout the universe. This quickening would stimulate movement back to a balanced center, assisting in releasing the shadows and delusions created during the 9 Hell Cycles described by the Mayans. The Wisdom Teachings describe this as a preparation period to learn to open the heart and mind to a new level of consciousness and to release the delusions held by ego and the lower self.

In 1999, we reached the midpoint of this cycle and began a thirteen year period preparing us for the transformational time highlighted on Dec 21, 2012.  Many teachers say that the most important work to be done during this period is self-introspection coupled with the release of old ways which are no longer working in this new energy. As this energetic cycle shift is occurring, it is an uncomfortable situation for us all. To shift with this age, we as a species are not going to be able to continue to think and act in our soon to be outdated ways of thinking.  Our biggest struggle is wrestling with our egos and our need for control. Our biggest problem is that we are still trying to “logic this out”, thinking in third dimensional thoughts and when we try to understand this change in that frame of mind, we experience fear of the unknown.

As we move closer to the 2012 transformational cycle, we are transcending into a new consciousness. This in turn, will alter our perceptions of how we view the world.  As with any period of change, it begins with conflict and chaos, both within and without. This planetary cycle is moving out of the shadow self and into a higher level of frequency.  To do this, the shadow self must be dealt with, which begins with the illusions and delusions of the ego being exposed and confronted. As this is revealed, fear surfaces as humanity has a great need for control and when the old outdated ways of thought no longer work, a panic ensues.

The ancient Egyptians taught their students in the temple how to prepare for shifts of time. I’ll share this teaching with you now…

During this 5000 year cycle of time, which the Mayans called the 9 Hell Cycles, we have faced all aspects of our shadow self/lower self. During challenging periods such as these, we enter into Maya (illusion) in order to make sense of what is occurring around us as we feel a sense of separateness from the light. During this period, we convinced ourselves that it is through the mind where wisdom is received.  The esoteric teachings maintain that the heart is where wisdom resides and the heart is the key to unlocking the divine mysteries. It is through the heart that the transformation and evolving cycle takes place.  As we move closer to the cosmic heart of the galaxy, our current logic will not assist in this process, rather we must open our hearts to prepare for the conscious connection and transformation. This is a hermetic axiom referred to as: As Above, So Below. What exists in the Universe above, is reflected within us below. The heart in our body is the center of our universe. The Sun is the heart of our Universe above. During this current transformation, as the Sun moves closer to the cosmic heart of the galaxy, so must we open our hearts within to prepare for the conscious connection and transformation.

This is the moment we have been waiting for, the reason we are here now. You have a front row, 50 yard line VIP pass to participate in the turning of an age, felt by both heaven and earth. This is the reason that you wonder why you are here and what you are meant to do. Why you think about preparing for an event when you have no clear idea of what that event is or how it will happen. It is unfolding around you in this very moment.

What you do each day, brings energy to this shift. Too often, we long for a breath-taking moment, rather than realizing that each moment is sacred.

Each day drawing closer to 2012 is an opportunity to open your heart, face your fears and shift into the light being that you are at the core level.

Of course it’s going to be difficult. Of course we’re going to face times of uncertainty and self-doubt. We’re in the culmination of a 26,000 year cycle of change and things are going to get messy.  Some of us have families that have a complete melt down in the morning if we’re out of a certain breakfast cereal and now we’re talking about an energetic change to affect the entire planet and 6 billion human inhabitants along with the animal, flora, fauna and mineral kingdoms. Things are going to get messy. The answer isn’t about avoiding change, it’s about taking what you’ve learned all these lifetimes and putting it into action. Our graduation date is upon us and our Senior Year is 2012.

This is our time to look beyond what appears to be the dark and see the light that is there, always present.  We are in a shadow time, which has been created by the collective doubts and fears of humanity.

Remember, not only is this earth transcending into a new age, but so are we, soul, by soul, by soul.

2012 is an interesting time, but I tell you what interests me more. It’s what begins in 2013.  I  interviewed Drunvalo Melchizedek on the Explore Your Spirit with Kala Show, where we discussed his new book and the Return of the Divine Feminine. What he had to say about the new cycle of time coming is fascinating and gives me great hope for our future.

What should you do to prepare for 2012?.  Use this time to go within to see what you need to clean out and let go. Evaluate What Defines You… and as I discuss in my book 9 Life Altering Lessons, ask yourself the age old esoteric questions…. Who Am I and Why Am I Here? Do you remember the secrets hidden deep within your soul? Perhaps it’s time to explore deeper and look within to find the many reasons you are here in this lifetime.

In the spiritual realms where the higher self resides, a record of every thought, action, word and deed is recorded for each soul. Our ability to process these lifetimes allow us to shift into the new dimensions of being.

We are not alone in this process. Our spirit guides have been working with us in one of the most importantly evolutionary shifts in our consciousness on the earth plane. The Awakened Aura: Experiencing the Evolution of Your Energy Body by Kala Ambrose

Many people say to me that they are not able to see auras or wonder if they truly exist. Seeing the first layer of the aura is relatively easy to accomplish. In the workshops I teach, typically 90% of the people I work with are able to see the first layer of the aura by the first or second exercise. While it is fairly easy to see the outline of an aura, (the etheric body is first viewed as a white border around the body) understanding what the colors inside the auric fields represent can be more challenging.

Are you wondering if you are sensitive to energy fields?

Consider these situations in which you were aware of energy that you could not see with your physical eyes:

1. Have you ever walked into a room and felt the mood of the room coming from the people inside, without knowing what the conversation is about?
2. Have you ever walked into a building and felt uncomfortable with no apparent reason as to why you are feeling this way, but wanted to get out as soon as possible?
3. Have you ever met someone for the first time and immediately felt uncomfortable and preferred not to be around them or on the opposite end of the spectrum, warmed up to someone immediately and found yourself wanting to spend as much time as possible in their company?
4. Have you ever played the game where you are blindfolded and you rely on sensing energy to see where someone else is located in the room and how close you can get to them?
5. If you have ever taken a tai chi or other type of martial arts class, one of the first exercises you learn is to sense your personal chi/energy field. Students are taught how to feel the energy radiating off the body and how to harness the energy between their hands, forming it into a ball. They are also taught deep breathing exercises in order to raise the energy field and expand it. These lessons connect directly into the auric field and are a great way to connect with your personal energy.

If you haven’t explored any of these options before, another example of sensing something in your auric field, is when you are deep in thought and not paying attention to your surroundings and suddenly, you “feel” that someone is staring at you and you turn to look. The person staring at you is causing a ripple effect that is being felt from their energy being directed at you and your energy field through the aura responding to this energy wave. The auric body reacts to the energy ripple and sends a message to your conscious mind to pay attention. It is being protective in this response, so that the mind can take the next step to discern whether the person is friend or foe and how to react accordingly.

In these situations and many others, you have felt the energetic auric field around a person.

Each individual creates a distinctive pattern in their auric field comprised of the individual’s thoughts, emotions, energetic manifestations and thought forms. The aura has an electromagnetic frequency, which is sensed by others and radiates at different levels. When people resonate at a similar auric frequency level, they naturally feel more comfortable around each other and find it easier to connect on the physical, emotional and mental levels. On the flip side, people whose auric vibrations differ greatly in frequency, tend to experience more conflict with each other and find it more difficult to communicate. In some ways, because they are coming from such different energetic standpoints, it’s almost as if they are speaking two different languages.

Seeing or sensing the aura can be helpful in a variety of ways in relationships, career, and general communications.

In the 21st century, we are shifting from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius and with this energetic shift, we are moving from a “tribe consciousness” into a “global consciousness”. This means that we begin to see our connection as a greater part of the whole, rather than just to the family in which we were born or the city where we were raised.

We are now being led to grow in our individual direction as leaders, rather than relying on someone else to be in charge.  We see this as people begin to describe themselves as “spiritual, not religious” and leaving corporate jobs to start their own small businesses.
