As Santa’s and Saturnalia’s little helper, I’m moving on to Day Three of the 12 Gifts of Enlightenment. Today’s magical, mystical and memorable gift for the metaphysician in your life is… Gift Number Three: Connecting Heaven and Earth with the Gift of Prayer

Behold the universal power of prayer, whether you refer to it as prayer, affirmation, manifestation, or direct contact, the results show that it works. What we think, what we focus on, what we speak aloud and shout to the heavens above, all is heard and reflected back down on the earth plane. Scientists are studying the energetic results of prayer, from how it affects healing, when groups of people pray for a person’s return to health, to global consciousness and focused thoughts and their effect on objects and circumstances.

On the Explore Your Spirit show, I interviewed Lynne McTaggart, author of The Intention Experiment and The Field. In Lynne’s investigative research, she worked with a group of frontier scientists who discovered an enormous field of quantum energy called the Zero Point Field. This discovery has spring boarded into research on how cells communicate and how spiritual healing, prayer and psychic abilities work. As Lynne pondered these findings, she asked the question… Can our thoughts heal the world? With this question, she began the world’s largest mind over matter experiments.
